What's in a Name?

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Or would it? The name of your business is your most important business decision (if the name is not simply your own). But you know that. And you know naming is a tough exercise today. After all, all the words in the dictionary were taken as URLs by 1994. Even common phrases like were gone shortly after. Imagine taking this to another level entirely—translating your good name into Chinese. Washington’s Chinatown (“ChinaBlock” according to one wag) is mandated by DC law to keep its Chinese character so Legal Seafood and other national chains MUST be translated into Chinese.
