Greenfield Belser has been a Finn Partners company for almost two years. This year we are adopting the new Finn brand style we created for the firm that is on the second spread of our book. That’s exciting for all of us here at Finn, but that’s hardly all that has been going on this past year. Video advertising is becoming popular because it is effective. It's like that saying, "if a picture is worth a thousand words a video is worth so much more." You can communicate what you want to say in a shorter post with a video detailing the message in a more intriguing way. Many (or even, most) consumers nowadays are watching videos versus reading articles—some studies are showing that people are consuming more videos than anything else. If you think like Badass film's website, you might gain more visitors by introducing videos. Videos are more likely to be remembered than a bulk of information crammed into a long paragraph, or even a static image. The website does a great job introducing a variety of videos and directors showing off their work, with some interesting interface features for play a video, pausing, etc. New websites being developed should consider video usage like this—it gains attention and makes the website that much more memorable, engaging and interesting.
