Holiday cards are a fixture on the seasonal traditions list and a great way to send well wishes to all of your loved ones. Our App of the Week allows you to create personalized cards that celebrate the season at a cost that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket. Felt, an app for the iPad, is a great way to design personalized cards. If this app seems familiar, that’s because we featured it in 2013! Now that they've added so many great features, we decided they were worth showcasing once again.

Felt lets you design cards that look like handwritten notes, but are actually created using an iPad and a stylus. The messages look so realistic your friends and family will think they were written using a pen and paper! Choose from hundreds of templates depending on the occasion. That’s right, you can use the app to design not only holiday cards, but cards for other events like birthdays and anniversaries as well.

Many new features have been added since last year, which includes features like Felt Storyframes— where you can custom-design frames and add filters to your photos. Felt Storyframes start at $3 and are $1 for each additional photo. Send up to three photos (4” x 4.5”) with each message. You design the card and let Felt handle the sealing, stamping and mailing to all of your loved ones all for only $4, including postage. Each card comes on premium Mohawk card stock that adds professional touch.
