Greenfield Belser has been a Finn Partners company for almost two years. This year we are adopting the new Finn brand style we created for the firm that is on the second spread of our book. That’s exciting for all of us here at Finn, but that’s hardly all that has been going on this past year. Really, it is impossible to say we love the work we did for one client more than another, but our goal is always to show you a balanced portfolio—across sectors with firms of varying sizes located all around the country. We live in an age of DIY website maintenance where any old image is allowed on the homepage after the initial site design is launched. Unfortunately, that launch is often a bobsled ride to the bottom with uninspired stock images quickly taking over the site. Make no mistake—we like stock photography. We use it all the time. But we don't use it on our homepage or any of the important brand tools—at least not without a twist. The truth is, if you wish every blog post to be illustrated (and they should be!), then you simply must use stock. It’s unaffordable to do otherwise. But, a homepage will not be memorable if the quality of its imagery is ordinary. That's why we were pleased when Nexsen Pruet called to have us refresh their homepage with new, original illustrations. Check it out.
