The BioHealth Capital Region gets a new look with Greenfield Belser’s winning logo design.

“This was our contribution to the effort to make the Washington metropolitan region a leading home for biohealth companies by 2021,” said Burkey Belser, Managing Partner of Greenfield Belser, a Finn Partners Company. “As more firms make the area their base of operations, more talent will also flow to the region. We like that idea!”

The winning icon is a modern and vibrant rendition of a double helix that gives a nod to the geography of the BioHealth Capital region, with the diamond shape of DC in the center. The blue and green colors connote health and vitality. The blue right-pointing arrowhead echoes the tagline: Advancing Science. Accelerating Innovation.

The panel selected our design and worked with us on multiple iterations of the icon and wordmark to arrive at the final design.
