Our circuit through 50 of the largest associations in America was thrilling at times, but the sheer volume of information on sites left the visitor (well, us) frequently overwhelmed. Only rarely did an association stand and declare its mission in a powerful and compelling way. That's why we feel the associations that stood out deserve credit for their outstanding features. To that end, we've awarded green ribbons to eight association websites.

The fourth green ribbon award winner is the Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America for their delightful graphics, compelling animated videos and clear explanations. We see this phenomenon quite a lot—the main site remains static while minisites and microsites are up-to-the-minute in style and design. It’s the tail wagging the dog. One of PhRMA’s programs, Access Better Coverage, is an excellent example. You’ll learn a lot about insurance coverage and its role in your prescription costs—just what you might expect from this association. Good stuff. Good enough, in fact, to win a Green Ribbon.
