100 Years of Design Celebrates Burkey Belser

Congratulations to Burkey Belser, whose work is featured in AIGA's recent "100 Years of Design" celebration, "a living resource for this landmark year and into the future."

AIGA, formed in 1914, is an American professional association for design and currently has over 22,000 members nationwide. The organization started this celebration not only to commemorate it's 100th birthday, but to "celebrate American design and its profound impact." The most prominent part of AIGA's site is their mantra, "Celebrating 100 years of design that...," welcoming any and all to fill in what comes next with their own tweets, pins and posts.

Users were able to upload their own images in the "Celebrating 100 years of design that..." categories of Connect, Inform, Assist, Delight and Influence. Belser's 1995 FDA Food labeling program, picturing the famed "Nutrition Facts," are prominently featured in the Inform category.
